Kitchens we have finished

Four things we hear before every project

What homeowners tell us is wrong with how cabinetry usually gets bought, and what we do differently.

  1. Every quote is a different number for a different thing

We measure the room and deliver elevation drawings within seven business days, then price against that drawing. You are comparing a specification, not a sales estimate.

  2. Eight to twelve weeks is too long to lose a kitchen

Carcasses are built here in the DC metro area, not shipped in a container. Fabrication runs three to five weeks from a signed specification, and install takes five to eight working days.

  3. The last install was three trades blaming each other

The same in-house crew that builds the cabinetry installs it. Floor and wall protection, one point of contact, no subcontractors to coordinate.

  4. Catalog cabinets never fit an older DC house

Nothing is ordered from a module list. Chases, out-of-square walls and odd ceiling heights are drawn into the elevations before fabrication starts.

Pricing

How a Pannello project gets priced

There is no price list, because there is no standard cabinet. Every project is quoted from measured elevation drawings once the specification is fixed, so the number you get describes exactly what gets built.

How it works

  • You see material samples and elevation drawings before any number is discussed.
  • The written quote is priced against that drawing, with no allowances to true up later.
  • Nothing is ordered until you approve the specification in writing.
  • The consultation itself is 90 minutes in the Georgetown showroom, no charge.

Worth knowing before you book

  • We supply and install as one scope, with our own crew.
  • Fabrication is three to five weeks, plus five to eight days on site.
  • If the budget and the project do not line up, we will say so at the consultation rather than after you have spent an afternoon on it.

Manufacturer warranty on the hardware, plus a year of ours on the install

Pannello carries the manufacturer warranty on hardware (Blum and Salice, typically lifetime) and on finishes (typically 5 to 10 years against manufacturing defect). We cover installation and adjustment for the first year, and provide lifetime hardware adjustment service.

Before you book

Custom cabinetry questions, answered

How long does a custom kitchen take? +

Fabrication runs three to five weeks once drawings and finishes are approved, because the carcasses are built locally rather than shipped from overseas. Install follows in the next week and takes five to eight working days.

What will my kitchen cost? +

We do not publish a price list. Every project is priced from measured elevation drawings, after the specification is fixed, so the number describes exactly what gets built. You will have it in writing before anything is ordered.

Do you offer financing? +

No. Pannello does not offer payment plans, so projects are best suited to homeowners ready to move forward on a defined budget.

What is covered if something fails? +

Hardware carries the manufacturer warranty. Blum and Salice hinges and drawer systems are typically covered for life, and finishes typically five to ten years against manufacturing defect. Pannello covers installation and adjustment for the first year, and provides lifetime hardware adjustment service.

Can you work with my designer or architect? +

Yes, and we do regularly. Shop drawings are reviewed with you and with your designer or architect before fabrication starts, so the drawings become the spec everyone builds to.

Which areas do you serve? +

A 30-mile radius from the Georgetown showroom at 2201 Wisconsin Ave NW, covering Washington DC, Chevy Chase and Bethesda in Maryland, and McLean and Arlington in Virginia.
